Welcome to Deadly Kindy

Our Deadly Kindy programs set children up for success. Not only in their transition to school but also for the remainder of their education.

Attending Deadly Kindy gives children a great foundation in life. It also gives them the opportunity to develop the necessary skills with the guidance and support of our expert staff.

Providing the right opportunities to nurture young minds and lay the foundations for future success isn’t always easy. Which is why we hire qualified and experienced early learning professionals who know how to do all this work for you.

There are lots of kindergarten programs in Australia, and they each have a lot to offer.

Our kindy is different.

Deadly Kindy is the only kindy program in the Brisbane and Logan region that puts Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture at the forefront of our children’s education.

We know that culture is important to you because it’s important to us too. As a community controlled Indigenous health organisation, we make sure that your children grow up safe, healthy and proud to be an Indigenous Australian.

Our children are culturally safe and connected. They’re immersed in programs that value and build on languages and practices shared by families.

Culture and community are the key drivers for our program design and it is supported and influenced by both community and elders.

Early learning in natural environments is one of our strengths. We let children choose how, when and where they learn.

Additionally, sustainability is a big component of our kindy program. We believe teaching our young ones to take care of country is one of the most important things we can do for them. We do this by engaging early with environmental education and local community members.

As a health organisation we are well equipped to identify and act on our children’s health needs early. All children receive health checks on or before enrolment and work with speech and occupation therapists regularly. This allows for early assessment and intervention.

By enrolling in Deadly Kindy you can ensure that your child will be receiving the best possible start in life whilst cultivating and developing their cultural identities.

It’s early childhood education on our terms.
